Partner with us to support resilient young leaders across Myanmar and the Global South.

Who We Are

Parami University is a private, nonprofit online university offering U.S.-accredited dual associate and bachelor’s degree programs in partnership with Bard College in New York. Through fully synchronous online learning, complemented by residential hubs in Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand, Parami delivers high-quality liberal arts education to students across Myanmar and the Global South. Parami’s undergraduate programs are licensed by the Higher Education Licensure Commission (HELC) in Washington, D.C.
Since its humble beginnings in 2017 as a liberal arts education institution in Burma (Myanmar), Parami University has committed itself to empowering youth to cultivate leadership in the service of humanity, civic engagement in communities, and relationship to the natural world. It aims to provide quality education with a focus on academic excellence and holistic development, and promote access to higher education for youth with limited higher education pathways globally. Parami University aims to be an institution of choice for students in Southeast Asia seeking top-quality higher education opportunities via advanced delivery technologies. Despite crisis, conflict, and ongoing challenges, our students continue to demonstrate remarkable resilience, determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives and communities.
To sustain and strengthen our mission, volunteers play an essential role. Their guidance, expertise, and mentorship create opportunities that extend far beyond the virtual classroom. We warmly invite global professionals, scholars, and educators to join us in expanding access to transformative higher education and supporting young people who are striving to build brighter futures despite extraordinary challenges.
